When fishing the B.A.S.S. Opens on Lewisville Lake I had a situation that proved why Ark Rods are my rods of choice. I hooked the biggest fish I have ever had on. She was in a brush pile. When she surged down it took me to my knees and the rod bent from tip to tip without breaking. I got her out but was not as fortunate on the second surge. She wrapped up in the pile and I couldn’t get her out. As my frustration boiled over and my temper peaked I leaned on my 7’4” mag heavy Ark Rod even more. The line sang and the rod groaned but neither gave up. I’ve never leaned on a rod that hard without it exploding! I push myself hard and my equipment even harder. Even during a come apart my Ark Rod didn’t fail and that’s why they are my go to!
